Born in Papua New Guinea, I’ve lived in Australia, France and London – it’s always been important for me to keep an open mind. I love creating and learning new things. Design is what gets me up in the morning, and that’s never going to change.

While at Consider This I served as lead designer on all major web and print projects for clients, including the Royal Opera House, Mac Tools, Royal Academy of Dance and Stagecoach Theatre Arts. I was also involved in key business – managing large projects, writing detailed proposals, specification documents and proofreading contracts. I was frequently called upon for my varied knowledge and skill set by both clients and employees alike.

I was invited to join this startup just after the two directors had formed the company. I performed many roles – web, interface and graphic designer; illustrator; office manager. It was an invaluable learning experience, as I was involved in setting up the tools and procedures used in managing the studio. As the company grew, I began developing materials for pitches, concepts and design for new client campaigns, managing external suppliers, as well as the training of new staff.

Hired as a full time graphic designer for a busy print and design shop in Perth, Australia. Along the way I gained experience in print, finishing and large format, as well as pre-press procedures, as we ran our own presses in the shop. Our largest accounts were Chevron Texaco and the Australian Department of Immigration. While here, I learned many vital techniques and principles of design, all of which have helped me in later years.

Based on my work at Starwon, I was hired by their partnered web design company as a junior web designer and developer. I was involved in designing webpages and basic development using HTML, CSS and some PHP.

Where it all began! While employed at Starwon I was responsible for the maintenance and troubleshooting of internet, email and web hosting for customers. I learned much about the operation of servers and the equipment that makes the Internet work. I also did occasional print and web design tasks when required.
